
AUCTION BIDS AND SHOPPING CART INSTRUCTIONS
SEARCHING AUCTION
Choose Search Style.
Be sure to read
SEARCH INSTRUCTIONS as they are critical for best results. There are
many choices/aspects re searching and what you enter will affect the
number of search results. Link to Search Instructions are available on each search page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Records are selected
individually. One record at a time is selected by
clicking on the ID number. Wait for bid screen to appear showing your selected auction record. THEN you place the bid. Return to search and continue until check out. See complete instructions below.
New Search Style
You can quickly choose new search styles by clicking on " NEW SEARCH STYLE"
which appears near top left on each search page.
Available Cover Photo
If a record has an available cover photo, the
JPEG number will appear in far
right column (picture column). View photo by clicking on this number. To close
picture window, click the X
at the top right of your screen. Your browser’s back arrow will not operate.
Grading Key
Link to grading key is on each search page. Please contact us if you have any
questions regarding condition of records, label information, etc.
BIDDING
- Click on ID of record.
- Bid screen will appear. Type in bid amount ($ or $ and cents) in indicated
space. Example: $30 or $30.21.
- Click MAKE BID. Note: Change bid by simply re-entering a different
amount and click MAKE BID. Delete record by clicking on ID
- Return to same search page to go on
shopping or a New Search or Shopping Cart
VIEWING THE CONTENTS OF
YOUR SHOPPING CART
At any time you can view the contents of your shopping cart by clicking the
shopping cart ("Shopping Cart" or the little picture of a cart) which appears
near the top left of each search page. You can also reach the shopping cart by
clicking "view shopping cart" on main "Jazz Auction" page.
Navigation from the shopping cart back to both the Auction and Set Price Sale
searches.
You can easily continue to search and add bids
switching between set price sale records and auction records adding to your
shopping cart. To remove a record
from your shopping cart, simply click on the ID number in the shopping cart and it will be removed.
TO CHANGE YOUR BID IN SHOPPING CART
- Click on bid amount.
- Bid screen appears.
- Type in new bid and click on "Make Bid"

TO SEND BIDS/ORDER
- Click the CHECK OUT button on the shopping cart page.
- Customer menu will appear. If you have ordered from G’s Jazz Inc previously, click on
Current Customer.
If you are not sure, click on
New Customer either inside or outside
USA.
- Fill Out the Customer Form

Please read directions on the Customer Form
Page(s) . If you know your customer number, you may insert your number in
Customer Number box. If you do not know number, leave the 0 in box. Fill out
optional information boxes if you want (including comments) Otherwise, leave the
? in the optional boxes. Note: all boxes must have something in them
before you proceed to next step.
Note: The current customer form is abbreviated. If you have ordered
recently we should have completely updated information re your address, customer
number, etc if you are in or outside USA. OTHERWISE, just fill in either of the new customer forms for inside or
outside USA.
- Press
DONE after completing appropriate customer form. Please wait for
next screen to appear.
- PRINT YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN
before sending your
bids/order in an email. After you press done, print out the next screen for
your records. Note: if you do not print this screen before you send the email, you will
not be able to retain a copy of your bids/order. Also, you can still change your
order (set price or bids) by clicking appropriate button. But you will need to
re-enter customer information and continue to proceed as before.
- CLICK "SEND YOUR ORDER IN AN EMAIL"
Click "Send Your Order In An Email" button and the next screen appears
- "CLICK TO EMAIL YOUR SET PRICE/AUCTION INFORMATION"
Click this button and it will bring up the actual email in your email program
to send. Note:
The auction order is encoded in the first line of the email.
DO NOT ALTER THE FIRST LINE OF THE EMAIL as
that will corrupt the order. It is not necessary to write anything in the email. If you wish to add
further comments, be sure you write them below the lines already in the body of
the email.
